The bay fishing is red hot! Plenty of bait fish around and lots to catch with it with keeper-sized Redfish and Speckled Trout on the grass flats and around docks. Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Skipjack are schooled up around the bridges for plenty of light tackle action!
August and early September should bring plenty of Big Bull Redfish mixed with huge Jackcravelle showing up. These are BIG fish that we run from school to school catching them while they are on the surface!
Inshore Gulf :
August 1st means Amberjack season is open! Lots of action from all types of fish including Black Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Cobia, and big Sharks!
If bottom fishing is not for you, then the offshore trolling is in full swing with Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish all for the taking! For these trips we suggest 8 to 10 hours due to the longer distances you will be traveling! We also offer daytime deep dropping for Tilefish! August and September are great months for offshore fishing!
